Hey fellow detectorists!
On the weekend I decided to make up an external battery pack for my 5C. While I had the detector apart, I slipped with the screwdriver and managed to break a big resistor on the front of the board (where the coil plugs in) literally in half. It looks like something from a 1970's TV... Its big!!
Can anybody tell me what I need to replace this part because the ones at the local electronics store look nothing like this.
Also, why is there a part from a 1970's tv in my new detector
?
Thanks for any help!
Deano
