I found this pin awhile back & haven't been able to ID it yet. It was about a foot deep, which would suggest that it is old & also, It appears to be handcrafted, which would also suggest that it is old. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

What I see is a square tab in the desighn and possibally a round tab. The hand shake on top looks to be from the Peter Hand brewery. I used to collect beer cans and I know that hand shake well. That is my guess
 
The center looks very much like seated love token designs I have found which were made from seated dimes. This would be an extreme example with the hollowing out.
