Greetings,

Can anyone ID this item? Found detecting a week ago in the creek behind my
home.

Picture above, is as item was removed from creek and below
after two nights in vinegar and the use of a wire brush.

Only thing I can think of is half of a fancy set of hames but I'd warrant it's something else.

Maybe part of a headboard - I say that because of the loops on the top of the piece.
