Help! Looking for a Draft Horse shoe to give to an elderly lady

Howdy ya'll! Gitterdug here. I have a request, and this seems like the forum to make it. I know a lady here in the area where I live. She had a Draft horse shoe, for luck, until she got divorced, and her ex stole the thing and threw it in a pond. Now I wouldn't think that to be a big thing, but this lady is truly broken about that Drafthorse Shoe, and asked me if I knew anyone who might have one. Laura lives below poverty level, and she puts a lot of stock in her belief of luck concerning that shoe.

I have a few horseshoes, but NONE from a large horse.

OK, to the point......Would any of the folks on here have a good looking drafthorse shoe? I will buy it, pay shipping too. I am just trying to do a good deed for a grieving old lady. I know it doesn't sound like much to fret about, but after talking to her, I agreed that the next one I find, it is hers.

Please, feel free to contact me at dennisjwynne@yahoo.com if you have one to send.

Thanks,

gitterdug (formerly kuletule)

Good on ya mate! :clapping: That sounds like a good adventure and a worthy cause for some of us to attempt to fulfill! I'll go look for one from the old lumbering days up here along the Muskegon river tomorrow if I can. Thanks for the post!

If you haven't found one yet I'd say look up a farrier in your area. You could also contact any draft horse breeders, they're on the net as well. Good luck!

Do you want a used one or a new one? I can send you either/or. You only want one, or maybe seven? hh Ed in colo.
