Help me to buy a new search coil for Teknetics T2

Hi guys please forgive me for all these questions about metal detector I have never had one so I know nothing about it. You see at the end the search coil was freaking out when it was getting wet because the person who sold it to me told me it is not waterproof and it has to be operated in dry environment! So I would like to buy a new one for my T2 but I don't know which one to buy, I want the one that is stable it wet conditions, DD, 12 or 13 inches, could you help me here please!

What do you think about 13" Ultimate DD Coil, does anyone used it with T2, and is it stable in wet conditions

I use a 10 X12 SEF coil on my T2SE works great even when wet!

All the teknetics coils are waterproof, It seems you may have gotten a bad coil, if you purchased it new I would send it in for replacement. It seems odd the person told you it needed to be dry, maybe they knew it was bad before selling it to you. I hope this helps.

Hi yeah it pisses me off big time, because I remember it was saying waterproof, but I have paid close to 300 USD for shipping and import duty so I am stuck can't do anything, but it's OK the coil works very well when it is dry I will use it for hunting beaches and plowed fields.

I use a 13" Ultimate coil on my T2 & it's a good combo for field hunting.

for a all around search coil i would stick with the 11"dd coil...............it will get the job done.........
