Help please, need advice, what would you do if this happened to your child??

Well written, Goes4ever...will be waiting to "hear " what the newpaper editor does with this.
well the letter got posted on their online paper today, so I assume it will hit the print on friday
Please keep us informed of this situation...would love to know the feedback from the public on this published letter...and what action was finally taken to prevent this from happening again.

This incident is appalling!

Actually it was a blessing he went without.

It lets him know what it is like to go without, even if for a few hours.

2ndly it was actually good for him to go without for a while as it gives the body more time to repair rather than always digesting food.

Going without food now and then is really a blessing.

God puts a fast on many of His Children to fast and pray for His answers to certain problems! But as far as a young child I don't think so! They are still growing and need the nourishment, but he will survive even if he misses a meal or two! Probably more embarrased than not eating!

I've fasted and prayed many times when I had a special prayer request for God to answer and answer my way, but He is still in control and by knowing all things He will not do what would harm us or others! When I've prayed with a sincere and thankful heart God has always answered the way I have prayed for the situations to come out! Want a job, pray for favor, need money....then pray.....God supplies all our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus! Now, that doesn't mean we have wealth untold, because if most of us had millions of $ we would not lean on Jesus nor trust in Him!

I pray everything is working out for the good of your child and the other children and for God's purpose! Jesus loves the little children, and we, as His saints, are His little children! He said to come unto Him in the faith of a child and He will answer and He does know what we need, before we even ask!

I think me preaches too much, but I love God and His Son so much that His word just pours from my heart! It's a good thing it isn't my mind most of the time, or I would get confused and type the wrong things about my Lord and Savior!

God Bless!
Betty

No, actually my daughter who is 15 is really blessed and is self sacrificing unlike all the whining brats out there who are coddled, pampered, and have their behinds powder puffed.

Kids today are just too pampered. My daughter knows what it is like to have little and have lots. Kids today don't know what going without is like. It hopefully was a good lesson for your kid. How old is the kid? Is he a spoiled little brat? Did he have a hissy fit like you and your wife had? Did he demand a pound of flesh for the little problem like you and your wife demanded of the school? . . . (which by the way is so unchristian as to be pathetic!).

sorry you have such a poor attitude, and I am not the only one who feels that way about you. I will say a prayer for you, and I am sure others here will pray for you as well.
