Help with a token

ramer

New member
A friend of mine found a token. It is octagonal (8 sides) and the size of a nickel. On one side it says "Fatty's" and the other side it says "Good for 5c In Trade At Bar" Obviously, Fatty's is a bar.
It is copper colored. Wish I had a pic to send.
The reason he is excited about it is because he found it in the same field where so far he has found 2 post colonial coppers, dating to the late 1700's and 3 English flat buttons. So this token might be very old.
This is in upstate New York near Palmyra NY where some of these towns were established in the late 1700's.

Thanks for any help
