Hi Steve,Great new forum! Now that the ground is frozen,I am digging thru my "junk" jar.I found this brass button at an old house site earlier this year.As can be seen it shows 2 deer holding a sheild with a eagle perched on it.It is slightly smaller than a quarter in diameter and about the thickness of a dime.It has a threaded post on the back for mounting. It also has writeing around the back but it is to worn to read.Any ideas? Thanks.

...hard to seem but it looks like the Great Seal of Michigan (below) instituted in 1835.
