Help with F75 SE settings

DirtAngler

New member
Just bought a new F75 SE to go with my Xterra 705. Really like the Xterra but Minelab really let us down with coil availability. Anyway, being a Xterra user, I prefer a not too chatty machine and I figure there are ways to set the F75 up to be a fairly quiet and stable machine. Currently I've been playing with a setting of BP process, 3H tone, disc. at 15 and sensitivity at 50 and this seems pretty quiet and still goes fairly deep. Will appreciate users tried setting suggestions.

Dirt; I use 2f or h or what ever the two tones are the three tones and up seem to chatty for me and the two one is still a nickle hi tone ; the sens i move til the spot is working for me even if i go down to twenty five or so. Also tried and at times liked the mono tone and 29 sens. The machine will find the goods no matter where you set it from what i have found. I also set the disc up to about 20 or 25 depending on the park; on open ground serious hunting non trashy places or relic i go down but for parks i set higher.
Grumpy Good Luck H H;

If you want to run your sens up higher, one tone, will help with the chatter.
