Help with small bottle ID

I found this bottle a few months ago at a location that was in operation from 1851 to 1910. Has an M or W on the bottom. Looks like an old pill bottle to me. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Did a little research and most likely 1880s to 1890s. Seems about right. Found several coins for that era there. Thanks

I would agree with your age period assessment... decades ago I believe I dug one similar to that one that had gold paint residue in it..whether that is what the original content was or not,I don’t know..

Thanks guys. Have dug a bunch of old thick bubbly glass out there and this was the only whole bottle I have found. Just dumb luck
