im having problems with my deepstar,in getting a steady theshold without falsing.i have tried various settings.wondering if mr bill or eric could help.

Perhaps, with a little more detail. Where, what, when,and how come to mind.
Without further information it would be impossible to suggest anything.
How old is the Deepstar ?? Where did it come from ?? Serial number ? Coil size ? Where are you using it ? What have you done to try to correct this problem ??
