Henry Clay Campaign Medal .....Help Please

Dennis 2

Member
My Friend found this Henry Clay Campaign Medal along a rock wall while we were hitting some cellar- holes in MA.
Clay and Theodore Freinghuysen ran under the Whig party in 1844.
The medal he found has a 1845 date on it (as you can see). All the medals that I've seen have no date on them.
This one could be a rare find.
Any one know were I could get more information on this medal .
Thanks for looking

I found out that it would be in "Sullivan/DeWitt book American Political Badges". The book is out of print. The book sells for $450,00 . I'm hoping that someone has it , so they can look it up for me.
