This is my 3rd. White's Eagle II SL 90.5. I just got this one from the guy that wrote the book on it. I couldn't believe the condition of it considering it is 15 yrs. old. This thing loves silver. Thanks Daryl for selling me such a nice detector. I'll sure be keeping this one. It will hang with most of the newer detectors.

Except for the MXT which is also a excellent machine and has very good depth.Thank goodness I have all 3.

The Sunray XL-1 probe works real well on the Eagle Spectrum. I just put it on today and tried it. I can switch it between my Eagle Spectrum and my Eagle II SL 90.5.

At least I wouldn't have to worry about switching it then. Just have a XL-1 on both detectors. Is that crazy or what?

but i do love the Spectrum performance,especially with the Black Max coil.HH Bill
 
for my Eagle Spectrum and the Eagle II SL. You can't get them from White's anymore but I found a guy in Ohio that makes them for $14.00 ea. shipped so I ordered one for each. Takes about 2 weeks to get them. I'll post a picture after I get them. I should have them this week.

I have the SL II 90. What's the difference between it and the 90.5? I never figured mine out. Pinpoint mode hade me digging holes 2 feet wide with nothing in them. I admit to not spending much time on it. Have any tips on how I can dial mine in? Maybe switch the stock coil. Or, some mods?
 
Try turning two quadrant vdi on,that will id iron pretty well.
