have been busy on this end with work and other things so I did get it. Hope you are feeling much better so you can get back out and find a few more goodies. despite the fact that i like to keep it light on Findmall, i have made a few negative comments. the difference is, i try to have a point when i do so.

Peggysue, you attacked James without making a point, and you were obnoxious & vulgar to boot. you may well get banned if you keep at it.

we're here to discuss metal detecting and share our finds. it'd be great if you could find a way to make a positive contribution. i hope this helps
 
Those 2 days of hunting were a lot of fun, especially at that small Fairgrounds we were at where the Quarters came from. Now only if there was a way to scrape the middle section of this area and get down to where all that other Silver sits.......now that would be something to see since I know it's gotta be loaded with more Silver. I was bombarded with over 20 private messages on the evening of Friday the 28th from people voicing their opinions...and also wanting to know why I removed the posts....which again...I did NOT do.

A few of these people...and they are very successful and credible hunters...felt you made some valid points and had the same feelings as you...but that you went way over the line with the way you posted your opinions.

You turned your personal opinions into more of an attack which will not be tolerated.

I am the moderator of this forum...but please realize that there are other adminstrators who work VERY hard to keep the forum running smoothly...and someone obviously made the decision to remove the posts I'm speaking of.

The bottom line for me is this: I want to encourage debate and the voicing of differing opinions in such a way that we can all learn to better ourselves in this great hobby. I feel we all have that right as long as the opinions do not turn into a personal attack.
 
This forum is for the exchange of useful information on the Explorers and showing finds. You want to make grandiose accusations do it on the FEEDBACK FORUM.
