Left last Wed. and headed up to my cousin Cooter's place in Virginia Always enjoy hunting with Vernon and seeing his wife and girls. Great family We hit a place Wednesday afternoon after I got there but I didn't do well because I was tired from the drive We got up Thursday and met up with Chris (Dog) and hit a nice big field where I dug a few flats buttons

We left and went to Vern's "Spencer Hill" and I dug half of a Spencer cartridge
Before we left, Cooter dug a whole Spencer and to my surprise gave it to me.

Surface finds were few and far between for a goodie but I did pull a few

It wasn't a great hunt for me this time but just for the time I get to spend with some good friends, I'd do it all again.
