I found this quarter the same day and the same place Tim found the king of key date Barber dimes(1895-O)and GuyT found two seated dimes both beside the same tree.
What a day! And it was by far my best year for seated coins with:
3 Seated Quarters
2 Seated Half Dimes and
9 Seated Dimes
for a total of 14 Seated coins. Most years I get 2 or 3
total.

How deep was it? Was it laying flat? What coil were you using and was it in trash?! Enquiring minds want to know!

Hey Neal what is the snow like down by you? We have about five inches.

It's unreal there are still coins like that in parks only 3-4" deep! You are an expert at pulling those old ones out of the trash. I need to take a few lessons from you next year! It that the one you found on the mound by where I parked last time? As soon as it thaws I would like to meet you there with the WOT and see if we can coax any more out of the ground!

New hunter with Exp.II not having any luck finding any deep signals. Was wondering what kind of depth you found them at? Good finds.
