Here's the picture.

I got into a private yard about 3 years ago in Port Townsend and dug up about a dozen old lead figure's. Some were cowboys and others were military related. A lot of them were the old self mold do it yourself types and you even paint them. I asked the lady if she wanted any of them and she said her son probably lost them when he was little back in the 40's. Can't tell for sure but your cannon looks like if could be a self mold from that period. Just a guess on my part.
 
Re: Thanks jb. That's about the same information I got from talking to other people about lead toys. I was guessing probably pre WWII. Where abouts do you live jb? HH.
