Here's the treasures from this weekend. At least I met my Quota!

Do you travel much? If not, expand your horizons a little and see what happens then. All it takes is some New Sites that are Older and you will find those Coins you want to find and in numbers. Then, you can raise your Quota from a Pull Tab or Penny to 5-10 Pull Tabs or 5-10 Pennies.:crylol:Sorry! I just had to do that! ;) Honestly! Your Silver Finds and Old Coins should go up the further away from your area you go and you may get lucky and hit a site that hasn't seen much of a Explorer. If so, then the fun will begin! I wish you Good Luck and HH and if you hit it big, make sure to post about it.

James! Your on a silver roll! I got a deal for you. You come down here and I will put you onto good sites for a weekend and then we will switch, see who has the best stomping ground! Something tells me you might win! Great stuff there.

I hope that I have very UN-happy hunting at my location, but thanks for your best wishes all the same. I'm not even hunting at the location where I'm currently located because if I find anything it's liable to make a big bang and cause me some hurt. I'm deployed to Iraq again until next spring.

I do plan on detcting when I come home on leave though, provided it's at a time when it's all thawed out.

I am sure that it would be quite a haul to your area but it doesn't hurt to know what State you are in. Good Luck and HH.

There wouldn't be anything HAPPY about HUNTING where you are located that is for sure and I wouldn't even want to be near a Detector until you were on U.S. Soil once again. Hope you and the other troops come home real soon and thanks for defending our great country.

When I use the 12" or 14" excelerater coils...pennies, quarters would hit 22 in digital if they were deep..Just dig everything thats my moto...

I need a silver fix bad,It is so hot and dry.I need to take a road trip and shake the dust of the explorer.Great finds and pics like that keeps me going.Good luck on your next trip out.
crowduck

but in order to do that, I would have to spend days in a 20x20 area at some of these sites. But you are right with the way you do it. I am sure there are Old Coins underneath that blanket of Trash, but they will have to wait until I get really bored one day or I try and find a Gold Ring during one of my outings. Thanks for the info on the bigger Coils and Keep pulling that Gold and Silver. Good Luck and HH.

I will get out Friday and Sunday and try and make some real actual finds to post. I will even post my take from this weekends Hunt so look for 2 postings. The look of Silver will always get one Motivated I say and make the Detectorist work even harder or travel further for that glint of Silver in the hole. Good Luck and HH to you when you get back into the Swing of things.

James. I'm located in SE Kansas. Got 100's of turn of the century house to hunt. Some civil war stuff and coal minning ghost towns.

Wow is not the word Jame!! Nice variety of coins there buddy........:) I just haven't been out much. Too darn hot and the ground is like cement unless you can find a park where they water the green areas. Got a club hunt tomorrow and the last time we were there I managed to pull out two mercs and they were real shallow. Keep up the nice finds and maybe I will have something to post after the hunt tomorrow. HH.

Eddie

Looking forward to your results on your Club Hunt you had this weekend. Hope you did well. Good Luck and HH.:detecting:

That would be a bit of a drive but if I ever get down that way for some reason, I will make sure to try and contact you. Good Luck and HH all that Old House Sites and etc.
