Here's what the NEW Ace should have......

Instead of the "bong" they should replace it with the High tone as on some of the GTA's where you could choose either standard or belltone. That way, the iffy targets wouldn't make your brain go "boing-boing" when you hear the signals, and the more bearable high tone ID would still help ID the high setting coins and you would be better able to sort out some the trash.

I too like the belltone, but some don't.

I would take it either way. When I first started using the 250 I would answer my phone every time I got a shallow coin hit!

I like the bell tone, Heck I took a hearing test the other day, and like to have dug myself out of that little booth.

I too like the belltone, but some don't.

When I hear the bell tone I know there is something good in the midst of all that trash.

I like it to and I've used a slew of different detectors. When mine hits a quarter or bigger it sounds like a phone ringing.
