Hermine pounding my beaches....

Glad she will be out of here just in time for the weekend holiday. She's been storming the beaches for a couple days now, today she really cut loose. Interested in seeing what the end result will be.

Hermime must have gotten completely worn out crossing Florida. A good bit of rain but the wind has failed to show. Was hoping for some sand movement but doubt that there has been any.

We got sanded in...on the beach!! This pic is from Clearwater Beach.
Still going to be a day or two for the surf to calm down ( wind is still up here), and even then the sea bottom is going to be uneven and full of holes making it difficult to walk as well as swing a coil over. Hunting will be slow going, but the storm could of uncovered some good long lost treasures that are now resting in those holes, which in a weeks time, will fill back in and cover up anything good that might be found. Till I and others can get in the water, we got lots of rearranged beach and slope to detect and try to figure out which is covered up and which got uncovered by the sand movement.
Link is live beach cam shot of St.Pete Bch.
