The love of my life passed away yesterday afternoon. I had to make the choice of taking him off the respirator and letting him go on his own or prolong his suffering. He had a rapid advancing cancer that totally consumed his lungs within 7 weeks. He had almost no lungs to breath with on the respirator. The pain in my heart is unbearable right now.
