ground balanced in the discriminating mode or only in all-metal mode like the F3?

The manual says that you should Ground balance for better Target ID and performance. Since target ID is only available in Disc mode the Ground balance should carry over from All metal to the Disc mode. You can not manually GB the detector, you have to use Ground Grab in All Metal Mode. I set the GB negative by "ground grab" to a wall and used the detector on my lawn after that, but i couldn't see any change in performance. I still have to find the proof that the GB really carries over to the Disc mode.
