I hope all is well! Check in!

I'm still here and doing okay Mike! I went out today and yesterday and pretty well got skunked plus losing a good pair of gloves that I use for hunting...bummer!! Lost a nice screwdriver not so long ago, I guess I am getting really careless and forgetful. I laid the gloves on the bumper and after putting everything away I drove off with them still there, I guess, as I cannot find them!
Tuesday after two hours I found 13 coins worth $1.34 and today after three hours I found 22 coins worth $2.64. Not enough to pay for the gas I used! Another bummer!!
Also part of a loop earring (silver looking) and a yellow hot wheels car full of dirt, as it was in the ground!
Oh, well, I will do better next time and both days were really beautiful and sunny! So nice to be out and detecting, but too bad so many others are doing the same and picking the bone (parks) dry!
God Bless & HH!

Just want to try and get them typed and on CDs now! But if the Lord gives me some more, I will write them! Since there are 3000 or more from 1987 thru 2004 that's more than enough to work on until I leave this old world!
God Bless & HH!

to keep you busy ! I wrote some years ago when I was depressed - couldn't write any worth beans when not that way. So I havent done any for a long time now. I enjoy yours tho - Steve

was when I was going through a really, really hard time after my former husband left me and I was very ill physically and emotionally. One of my poems is a letter to the Lord telling Him just how I felt and what I was going through with my family and etc. Of course God already knew, but writing it down helped me and gave me strength to keep on, keepin' on! Which is a title of one of my poems also!
So, writing poetry during times of distress, loneliness or depression is sort of a healing process! Even King David wrote during his low times, as well as during his happier times!
The metal-detecting you do apparently is keeping you going and enjoying life, so keep it up! I cannot hunt like I used to do because of the health problems I have. Crawling under things too low even for this shortie is just not joyous no matter what is under there and who would help me get back out from under if I happen to get stuck or pass out?
Therefore, keep hunting while you can for the older you get....even seven or eight more years....takes a toll on the body and mind! Every ten years does make a difference! And a person alone makes a difference! LOL!
God Bless!
Betty
