I just received my August copy of W&E Magazine, received September before August for some reason, LOL! Just glad to get the W&E here in Germany. Great write up on that hunt with Ted and John! That was a great hunt with excellent finds. Glad to see John shined on that hunt, LOL! I still think about him finding that late 1100 silver hammered in the last hour of our trip, it's never over until the last swing. Nice to see your smiling face in the back of the magazine with ole number 2. HH, Mike

Yea, that was a memorable hunt for us....just like hunting in England with you was. We all did well (those 2 buttons on the cover are mine), but John does have a knack for sniffing out Spanish silver. Sites like that don't come around too often anymore, & we try to jump on 'em whenever we can. That was the coolest farmer we ever ran into....he let us go right out there & dig....AS he's seeding! Let us do it this year as well.....
They have another story of mine (featuring that colonial Wax seal) that should run within the few issues about hunting a War of 1812 camp.....
