What kinda bike do you have. I was looking at an 883 but thought it might be too small for a 6'1" 243# guy. (Hope to be below 200 before years end) I like the Fat Bob without all the chrome. Saw one camping last weekend with a black powder coat crankcase and matte black tank and covers. Really liked that one. Somebody told me the 883 was not a real Harley. I don't know, still researching. I rode a police bike on an off when I was with local PD, but that's been a few years. Anyway, good eye on the caddy!

Kawasaki KLR 650-A dual purpose bike.650 cc's;water cooled.Seat height is about 35",almost too tall for 6'2"me to get on.Im up around 270,with me on board,it will cruise 60-70MPH all day long,and get 50 MPG doin it!Ive been up over the Mackinaw bridge with it;toured the U.P. with her(Brockway Mountain Drive,Lake Of The Clouds-
!!):Tahquamenon Falls,Sault Ste.Marie,and points in-between in Michigan.Last August 12th,2009-the day after I was cleared by my Dr. to ride after shoulder surgery-I hit and killed a deer while ridin it.Didnt go down,wasnt hurt-No damage to the bike.She's paid for;just about 13,000 miles on her.She runs as good as the day I picked her up in July'07.On my 3rd set of tires,2nd set of chain/sprockets.Had 3 factory recalls (whole wiring harness replaced;all 4 turn signals replaced;exhaust system bolts replaced-some bikes had the whole muffler fall off!!)Im on a website with a forum for KLR owners(www.klr.net),Im KLR STEVE on it.BEST thing about this bike??-I can cruise the highway,and when I find a dirt road/2 track I'd like to explore;AWAY I GO EXPLORING-Now;dont get me wrong-H-D makes a GORGEOUS bike;Id LOVE to have one,its just not in the cards for me.Im gonna be puttin her away soon-Around Nov.1st-Change the oil;put some preservative in the gas;shut the gas off and run her till she dies,take out the battery,cover her up-and dry my tears,'cause I wont be ridin her again till May
