Debbie and I have been married 34 years and are among other things, best friends. We enjoy each other's company and often visit at that kitchen table.
A Wussy? I assure you that you will never see me turn and run from a friend in trouble, nor run from a fuss when confronted by a bully type person.
A year ago tomorrow, I had a minor medical problem, and if it had not been for Debbie, it is possible that I would not be sitting here at this moment typing on the computer. That night, I wanted to wait until morning to go to the hospital, but Debbie would not take "no" for an answer. At the hospital, we were later told that if I had not gone to the hospital, I probably would not have survived the night...my best friend, Debbie, knew how critical the situation was at that moment and knew that I had to go to the hospital as quickly as possible. She did good that night! Up until that time, I had never really had a sick day in my life...so that was why I was reluctant to go to the hospital. She kept at it until I got in the truck just to hush her up! Thank goodness she won that battle!!!
