As for me, I'm not picky at all, and appreciate anything! I like and collect so many different things that I really don't even know where to begin. Trouble with that is that most of that stuff is too expensive for the Secret Santa exchange. I will just share a list of things. Whoever is trying to come up with an idea for me, don't stress over it! I'm easy to please and like most anything. Here are some things I like - am in to - and/or collect:
Anything to do with metal detecting - old coins - relics/artifacts - rock hound - gem mine - pan for gold - dig outhouses, cisterns, old home place dumps - old bottles (cork top) - POTTERY, especially Alabama and Sand Mountain pottery (old churns, pitchers, jugs, etc.) - lighthouses - anything to do with American history and Alabama history (guess it's a good thing I like that stuff since I'm a history teacher!) - wildflowers/plants/herbs (although I'm not much in to taking them for medicinal purposes, I do enjoy learning and knowing all about them and what they are good for. I spent a few years learning from the best "Herb Doctor" in the South; the late A.L. Tommie Bass). I love college football and like most South Eastern Conference teams, particularly ALAMAMA (#1 - for now, anyway), LSU, and Tennessee. Southern Gospel music and some Praise and Worship too. Lucille Ball in the "I Love Lucy" show. Carol Burnett in the "Carol Burnett Show." Humor & funny stuff. Mountains, the weather, flea markets, and yard sales. Favorite flower is pansies. Civil War and WWII. Reading about FDR (Franklin D. Roosevelt) and the Great Depression. So much more I could list! Like I said, I like LOTS of things!!!!!
