HEY MAGYAR---

Thank you Warthog;

The piano recital is this Sunday...all is in order so I can now relax

Hairy, homely men? ...Aw, no way....from the pics I 've seen, I think I you all flew in from Hollywood to have your photos taken...you all look like movie stars!

Like this guy...:super:

Hey, Clark Gable! He was a handsome dude in his time! I always liked to watch him in the movies he starred in! We must be telling our ages! And warthog Steve, I am not hairy and I am not a man! There are 3 women posting on this forum as of right now! So go get some glasses or new ones!

God Bless!

Yep, Kirk Douglas, I think! He was a favorite too! His sons aren't too bad of actors either! Just don't like some of the movies they are in! Hollywood is a sinful world on its own these days!

God Bless!

Ma Betty...that looks a little like Kirk, but it is Robert Mitchum...

yes, I agree with you about the movies; I rarely go to the movies...and rarely watch movies on t.v.

I rarely watch t.v. for that matter ...the news shows I like.

I like movies based on historical fact....any part of History.

You are right, Lorraine, when I looked at the pic again before you even told me who he really is, I knew it is Robert Mitchem! I liked his movies too! Shows how old Ma's getting, I look at the actors in the 50 and 60 movies and have to guess most of the time who they are....................they look so young! But time marches on and waits for no one!

I never was a movie star fan nut like most of the teens when I was a teen and older! Never screamed nor fainted at one of them! But I didn't see any in person, but Elvis Presley,
when he appeared at the Fox Theater when first starting his singing in public! I liked his first movie, Love Me Tender! The best one I ever saw was when he was in a movie with grandpa and two boys! They were in FL camping along the beach where they weren't supposed to be! That one ( I don't remember the title right now) was hilarious!

Good to converse with you and Dobbie! Were only men and me for a long time! Once in awhile a lady would drop in but went out about as fast! Sure enjoy that we have 3 women posting often now! Keep posting as I really enjoy them! Good luck and God Bless!

You saw Elvis Presley in person?? Oh, Boy! That must have been so much fun. I liked him as a teener...would put that transistor radio so close up to my ear to listen to his music, it premeated my brain.......ah, the memories..thank you Betty...

Yes, it is nice to have you and Dobbie with me.

Yes, Lorraine, I saw him up on the stage.....there were so many young people there that night that my ex and I only could see him while he was performing! Oh, there was another singer that I saw in person, but didn't talk to him either was Ferlin Huskey?? I think......We went to a dance and he came in while were were there!

I remember now the name of the movie I liked so well with Elvis! It was FOLLOW THAT DREAM! The two little boys were funny! Someone would give them a candy bar and it would be divided between them. When one brother said, you have a longer piece than me, the other who had split it, would take a bite off the end and then raise the two pieces up and say, see they are the same length now! I just have to smile everytime I think about that!

I always like Jimmy Stewart, John Wayne, Maureen O'Hara, Pat Obrien, and many others. They are all very old now or have passed on from this world!

God Bless!
