..If I bring that cottage cheese bottle with me I found at my in-laws a couple years ago;will you take pics of it and post them here please??I have been told its extremely rare;as it has the dairy's name, the OWNER'S name, address and phone# of the factory EMBOSSED into the bottle-The historical society in West Branch told me that dairy was in business in the late 30's;and that bottle's pretty rare, they have never seen one in one piece. They hinted around they might even want it for their collection-FIRST THINGS FIRST;THOUGH-I want to find out just how rare it really is-IF it is.Steve!!

A cottage cheese bottle? What is the name of the dairy?

CONTENTS 12 OZ LIQUID SUNNYSIDE DAIRY H.E.JACKSON PHONE 175 WEST BRANCH,MICH. REGISTERED On the other side it says COTTAGE CHEESE in flowing script, beneath that it says SEALED BB48 On the bottom is a diamond with a barrel in the middle of it;with the numbers 18 on the left side of the diamond,1 in the middle, and a 3 on the right side outside the diamond.Below that in the center of the bottom is the letters S S -presumably the dairy's logo, and the most important thing-in cursive writing on the bottom it says Duraglas Keep in mind, all the above is EMBOSSED into this bottle-NO LABELS of any kind.It is 5 inches tall,23/4"wide mouth, has a rolled lip with a flat inside for those old paper seals they used to have;3 inches wide at the bottom. We will probably have to fill it with some kind of dark liquid to get all the details and features to show thru.No chips or cracks of any kind on it.Completely clear glass bottle.BELIEVE ME,its a real gem!!You all will get to see it next week when I meet up with Pete;I also left a message on the Bottle Hunters Forum here that there will be pics there next week too.

Many guys fill them with tiny white styrafoam beads like in a been bag to get the detail. It also looks like milk that used to be in it when you put the beads inside. I know some real good bottle guys, I will see if I can get some info for you.
