Im gonna be in West Branch at my in laws-Im thinkin Im gonna have to get out of the house before they drive me:wacko:-OR VICA-VERSA-will be there from Thursday till Sunday-How's about some :twodetecting:-ing,provided we arent under 6' of snow;or the ground's not frozen???Let me know,Warthog with the big mouth!!
 
One of my sisters is planning a Thanksgiving meal about a week or so before Thanksgiving Day. Church had mentioned maybe a meal for the less fortunate in the area...though at the moment we are questioning if we should stay with this church or go find another :sad:

Thanksgiving morning (just after midnight) was when my Dad passed away. Can't believe it is almost a year gone by. :sad:

I don't think we will have frozen ground or lots of snow. After all this is going to be strange as if my calculations are correct Thanksgiving is the 3rd Thursday of November...in this case the 15th...which is also the first day of gun deer season....and ya know deer hunters want snow for tracking so with that we probably won't have any snow til later in the month I am guessing.

Hopefully by then I will be able to bend down to dig...I can get down...very slowly...and very hard to get back up. Will be good to get out with ya even I can't dig I can take pics of ya digging up some goodies...that ball field is still calling ya to come find silver!

I'll keep it open for us to get together. We have no other plans.
 
Its on the 22nd this year,Pete......Well,we will just hafta play it by ear;see what happens when the time comes...My in-laws are hintin around they might want me to go up and check out the trailer at Presque Isle,then-Might just slip on up to Mackinaw to detect that motel beach I stay at that time of year;and ease on around from there down to Alpena way when I head home,to check out the RV.....
 
BTW if ya call use either of the cell phone numbers...our home phone doesn't have a dial tone...sounds like a stuck relay somewhere and is an open line. People call the number and get the mail box to leave messages. They were supposed to come fix it a couple days ago and they still haven't shown up. Besides Sherry isn't doing pest control phone answering so either cell number will work.
