...Let me know,if you find anything at the old ball field....I still have my Fisher 1280x,for the wet,and my Garrett 1350 GTA, for dry.Marcia just bought a cheaper Bounty Hunter last fall,we enjoy going out detecting....We went out into Lake Michigan last summer, the beaches here are just gigantic!!!!!I have a lead on an old resort near us that opened in the 50's,called Pigeon Hill Resort, just got sold at foreclosure end of December....Their stretch of private beach is about 1/2 a mile from the house,..There is potential for finding50+ years of finds, there,in the water, and out.Down the street is the Old Channel Inn,dates back to 1800,......We will be going thru Houghton Lake on our way to Mackinaw for our honeymoon 7-21-13,Sunday,would like to stop in then,if possible.......Steve....

Steve what county are you in - I may have some info on ghost town(s)/beach(es) for you. Got a book that lists like 500 places in Michigan to detect or check out anyway. I think it would be great to catch up to you then and maybe do some detecting in that field too' Glad things are going well with you now Steve, Know you've had some tough times. God bless ya Brother.
