Hey Rick (N.D), You gonna love that Pitch Hold, on the SE. There is a trick to it though but you will find out what it is. I dug 2 real deep barbers

I found out to day with the SE and we all been gripping about this to. It will be posted by someone else though. I had noticed it but just didn't think about it until he asked me about it but, I called him and confirmed our suspicions. You gonna like that one too. Later bud, and I was using the Joey coil today. Im not sure I understood all of what you were trying to say. Can you please explain?

thanks!

I got to air test a SE for a while last Friday in my bar and was impressed with the recovery speed it has and how fast the meter will respond plus you can switch between the digital and smart find and go back over the target and get a ID right away on the meter while my XS II was a big delay.
Now on the tone pitch first thing I notice was the threshold was louder for me. Next I notice that it will not come back on iron like the Sovereign does as the Sovereign is a low tone threshold almost like a growl. Now the SE on iron will null, but come back with a threshold of the target it seen before the iron. I only notice this on iron as a nickle will come back with a low pitched threshold, then if it seen a dime it would come back as a high tone threshold.
Now I am just waiting to get me one I can do some actual hunting with to see how it will work. I sold the first 3 as fast as I got them in, but the next one is MINE!! I just have to see what James can do with this SE over his XS he uses.

I wish you would get one in so I can give it the good ole spin around the block. I want to see if that Pitch Hold is going to do what I think it is going to do. And that is get the ULTRA-DEEP TARGETS that one has a tough time getting signals on. If I am correct, this Pitch Hold addition just may net some nice older and deeper finds that I know are in spots I have previously hunted at. So Rick, as soon as you get one in, please let me know and I will be out in a flash to get it and give it the full test. I just have a feeling this Explorer SE is going to be a great machine and if it does what my feeling tells me, you can bet your bottom dollar that I will have one by next spring. And we know what happens when I get a certain feeling for something such as finds and such. Then we will see what I can get from some of my older spots I have done so well at. Good Luck and HH to you Rick if you are able to get out during this week and just remember to think positive when out at the site you are working at. There is still Silver around, you just have to swing your coil over them and be able to hear them that's all. Later Buddy!
