Hey Rick (ND), thanks for the IM -4 tip...

I can't remember which forum I read your post in that said you had a friend who hunted in IM -4 and was doing pretty well with it. I tried it myself the last three outings and have done well. In air tests IM -16 identifies a coin farther from the coil than the -4, but in practice the -4 is great! I've gotten 2-3 old coins every time I've been out and that is 45 minutes to one hour each time. This is also in parts of the park that I cleaned out with the Sovereign/WOT. I am using the WOT on the Explorer II.
I will try other settings like the IM -16 in ferrous, but the IM -4 is just a lot of fun. Thanks for the tip.

I am seeing more of the guys around here try this too and their finds have increased too on the older and deeper coins. May not be the perfect setting for every case, but worth giving it a try.

the sensitivity in Semi-Auto at 32. Right now I'm pulling pennies out of the 7-8" range with the WOT It really tickles me because the coins are coming out of areas that I've been over with the Sovereign many times using the 8" Coinsearch and the WOT.
Thanks again.
