Hey Royal! Just checked your backyard! There were 2 deer. One looked right up at me! I

thought it might have heard the camera, as I was using the controls! Looks to me like they are trying to find some of your grass. Is your electric fence not on right now?? :)

There is one out there right now. I don't have the electric fence up during the winter, they can not hurt the flower beds. As soon as the snow goes and I get the beds prepared it is going back up. You can see the short two ft posts that the wire goes on just behind that deer. No wire on it now as I am putting up all new wire this spring.

The deer have found far better feeding in the open where the snow is gone but they will come in every evening all summer long. You will be able to see us out at the campfire this summer too. I gotta remember not to pee in the open from now on though.

With preset number 5 you will be able to see us at the table, unless Mary turns it off. :D

Wednesday. I'll make that a bike ride day with my daughter. Spent the day here dropping tree's down for next year. I ran completely out of wood this year.. Gave some away to friends, perhaps a little to much. The sap is already running up them so I'm dropping them all over the place. Mostly red oak.....Some maple and shagbark Hickory. No rest for the old guy this year. Between plowing, shoveling and feeding the wood stove and getting hay and water to the horses it was a busy winter. Good excersize for me. Tonight when I looked out where I had stop the brush, the deer were out there eating the buds off them. Did you make it out on the scooter yet?

I have to get in ready if I am gonna make a river run. I have people up here that say they will pick me up at the Smith Bridge end but I don't like bothering people that way. Rather do it on my own.

It is going to be over 60 here today and above freezing but they are threatening some snow later in the week. That could change though.

I am ready. I am about to head for the gym now and just might get the scooter running a little later. I keep it in my neighbors garage for the winter. He put up a 30 x 50 last year and I keep my scooter, bikes and garden tractor in it for the winter. With any luck I will have my own this year.
