HF coil choice

Active member
Just wondering which is deeper, the 9" round or the 5 X 10 . It looks most are using the 9 inch round and why would that be?

Thanks ,

El

What kind of hunting do you do? I've had 5 coils and have found more with the HP elip than the others combined. All settings being the same no depth difference. The 9 does get a little more coverage. Would use it if field hunting. Hope this helps. PT

I had th LF 9” and I found a ton of silver with it worked great now I prefer the 9” HF and the higher frequencies
