Hi,all.......I got me a new ride.................

warthog

New member
.............I have always been a big car buff;and now that I got my disability issues taken care of,I have been looking for an older Lincoln, like I had years ago,and I found her:A 1989 town Car,88,000 miles;NEW:Battery, tires, brakes all around, tires, air shocks in back, owned by an older woman, that took GREAT care of this car.It is brown,4-door;leather inside, brown leather coach roof.I had it in the shop yesterday,-no maintenence papers came with it,so I had the coolant, rear axle fluid changed, tune up done, and front end alignment.....They found a couple minor problrms;Trans seeping fluid at rear seal and pan(I'm going to have that taken care of soon),car had been in a wreck in the past, and whomever painted the P/ rear door, did it blindfolded,TERRIBLE match job,I have to use some liquid rubbing compound on it,to get it to look a little better.Y'all should get a ride in this thing:it FLOATS down the road.Mechanic asked me how much I paid(NOT MUCH!!!),and told me they basically GAVE it away....I paid what they asked-to a DEALER,no less....I will be storing it this winter at Marcia's place. If I get a chance,I might post pics here,of Warthog's town Car. Steve,Proud New Owner of a 1989 Linclon Town Car....!!!!...:super::cool::)

Nice ride! My best friend in high school had a black 1976 Lincoln Town Car. We called it our "Mafia Staff Car". That thing was a monster and had a great ride....smooth.
Enjoy and post some photos.
