Hi all, Steve here saying HI!!!........

I hope and pray everyone's well here. Me and my wife Marcia are doing well. I've been trying to keep busy. I've been made a 'leader' of a couple groups learning how to play the guitar and ukulele. WOW!,,,,Lotsa fun, but I've never played the ukulele; so.............
I've ALSO been asked to play/lead with a couple Gospel songs at a funeral, for a much loved lady member of our Church that died recently. Her husband asked specifically for me to lead the gathering at her funeral service with "I'll fly away", and I've ALSO been given the green light to lead with "Because He Lives", my personal favorite Gospel song.... I will be dedicating "Because He Lives" to the lady that passed and her entire family, and everyone else. They're saying this will be one of the biggest gatherings our Church has had; she was VERY much loved by everyone. This is the 3rd funeral I've led the gatherings with Gospel music. It is a 'two edged sword', playing at a funeral- A great honor and privilege to be asked, YET at the same time a VERY emotional experience. It's a HUGE responsibility; to lead a gathering at a funeral; honoring the person that passed, and their families. Father and Son will be there to guide me. Amen. Peace and love to all!

Hey Steve, glad to have you back around. Glad to hear that you and your wife are doing well. I'm sure that it is an honor to be asked to play and sing at someone's funeral service. This would be both honoring the deceased and providing a service to and for the family. The Lord will bless you for this. Be honored for being able to play an instrument. I do well to be able to play the radio. Again, great to have you back.
