Hi Folks; Got the First Report on my spine yesterday and - -

I'm doing good all things considered. I got to see the Xrays for the first time yesterday and it scared the heart out of me. I'm a War Bird but I'm not afraid to tell you that I literally cried my heart out. It terrified me. I guess that it's like when you talk about something and all is ok but then you REALLY get to see it finished.!!!!!!! It took my breath away.!!! I now have titanium "bolts", BIG ONES, all the way through "EVERY" vertebrae in my spine from my neck to my tail bone.Then I have these Titanium, everything is titanium, bars that run horizontally across every second vertebrae. Then i have 2 "HUGE" and "LONG metal rods that run the "ENTIRE" length of my spine from my neck to my tail bone where they are now "welded" to the new tail bone as well. My entire tailbone, sacrum and coccyx, are now "SOLID" metal. Then they put 2 more bolts into each hip and ran a metal "wire or strap"??? across each hip and literally welded them to my new tail bone as well. God if I ever get hit by a car I'll dent the sucker for sure.!!!!!! All kidding aside i have NEVER seen any thing like this in my entire life. I've seen Death many times and in many ways but this is unGodly.!!!!!!! They in effect literally took out my entire spinal column and replaced it all with titanium.I just thank God that it is working and I'm walking again. My biggest fear is not for me but for my Family. i don't know how I'm going to make it except through Faith in God ALL Mighty. Anyway the Surgeon did say that the spine is healing fairly well even though it is a bit early yet.So please keep praying ok. Anyway I just wanted to give you guys the update on it all. Thanks. A miracle of God working with those in the medical profession! You will go down in the Medical and Science books in what they've done to you! I don't know if you'll be able to go MD'ing as you will probably set the beeps off while swinging it near your body! Wow, Titatium....you are an expensive piece of metal works! My prayers are for continued healing and less pain and may you get well, quicker, than the drs predict, so you can tell them the glory belongs to God in Jesus' precious name! Amen! Ma Betty

Praying for ya Ron.....There are two things I am thinking of...You could allow other detectorists to scan your back to see what readings they get for titanium...the other thought is are you being tried out to be a cyborg such as on the star trek shows....resistance is futile.

have the surgery I had. The other person was a woman so I guess that makes me the first MAN to have this surgery. It is truly CUTTING EDGE.!!!!! NASA is jealous.!!!!!!! I literally have a card AND a letter from my surgeon verifying that if I set of the Metal Detectors in stores they will know why. That is CRAZY. I love it. !!!!!! I'm worth more Dead than I am alive. I just hope no one kills me just for the metal.!!!!!!!! They'd be rich. !!!! Only Kidding. PEACE:RONB.
