Dear Ron.....Sometimes we need more than prayers and that is a shoulder to cry on and tell someone all about our troubles the same as we do God! I have been stressed and depressed and still am many times because life is often lonely and difficult to get through, but that is where Jesus our dear, blessed Savior comes in and gives us peace that passes our own understanding of what is going on! Please look upon Him always and keep His face before you (the only face we know by human pics) and keep pleading with Him and also thanking Him for what He has done already in your life and for your daughter! God cares for your daughter, too, and although you can't see any farther right now than for her to be taken care of by you and you are not able to do so, He understands! When we've done all that we can do...stand firm on your faith in Jesus and know that He has not left you all alone without help! Your faith is really being tested and ours will be when we can't help ourselves and others....that is when our full trust in Jesus comes in by our leaning on Him and not in our own strength, which we do not have for ourselves or others during sicknesses and trials! Look up to God right now, and imagine Him sitting in a Big Rocking Chair and your climbing up into His lap where He gives you His love and comfort like no other god or any human can! Cry upon His shoulder and tell Him about your sorrows, fears and problems, as He is your Heavenly Father holding you within His loving arms, as He comforts you with renewed strength and courage and then by reading or hearing His Wonderful Word of truth and righteousness!
Also, tell your docs about your stress and the depression it is causing you and let him prescribe some anti-depressants for you to get through these troubling times that seem to be overcoming you, but they aren't as long as you have Jesus and your many friends and Brothers and Sisters-in-Christ praying for you and to talk to by postings &/or by phone! If you want my # to call when you really need someone to talk to....ask Mike in MI...and he will give it to you or you can PM me and I will PM you back with my tel #...!
There are people who can help you like food banks, womens, children and other chances for clothing for your daughter and there are Church Ministries that will help...which by asking God when and where to go for help He will give you direction by His Holy Spirit's guidance in His guiding your footsteps! I could tell you about the many times when He helped me when I needed Him while driving trying to find a place I needed to go to and sending someone right in front of me leading me right into the place! Praying without ceasing is the answer and even it is just saying, Help me Jesus! He is right there and will!
Get help for your depression to be able to think clearer and things will not look as dark as they seem to be to you right now with the stress! There is nothing wrong with taking meds (even anti-depressants) when needed, as God gave wisdom to the drs and medical people for making them for helping us when all else fails! Better than a deep hole with suicidal thoughts that satan would have us in without having hope in Jesus, as our Lord and Savior! I've been there so I know of what I speak and many times satan wants me back in that deep, dark hole but I tell him where to go, quickly, and pray even more! When the going gets too tough for our own strength, we need to and must lean on and trust in Jesus more and more! May God Bless! Amen!
