Hi folks; I know that there are a few people who won a couple of contests for Colonial Buttons that I held that have not recieved their prizes yet.The reason for this is simple. I was hit by circumstances way beyond my control. I have "always" intended to honor these prizes and still do. I will be sending out those prrizes this week coming so by next Monday you should all have them. When I held these contests I did so with a pure heart. Instead of being able to send out the prizes on time I was hit with paralysis from my chest down then wound up having "EXTREME" Spinal Surgey. 67% of my Spine is now solid metal but I'm walking, thank God.I am on the mend and doing a lot better. I am in position to be able to send these prizes out this week ok. Second is that I also fullly intend to honor my roll in the Secret Santa as well on time.!!!! The one thing that people close to me do know is that I AM a man of my word. I tell someone something I do what I say I'm going to do. I always have. At the same token there are times in life when things happen that are unexpected, like paralysis that we have no control over.This "IS" one of those times. As the old saying goes, " If you mess up, you fess up then you clean up. That IS what I'm doing here now. So if you have a prize coming please PM me your physical address and I will send it to you this week ok. My emails and stuff were deleted by accident.If I do not have your physical addresses I can not mail them. I apologize for the delays and thank you for your Christian heart in this matter. I understand Ron and don't hold anything against you, as there are many things that happen which cause us not to do what we had planned to do! We used to say, If the Lord's willing and the creeks don't rise, as they couldn't be crossed if flooding! Please don't let satan accuse you nor be down on yourself for not doing what you could and would have done had not your back been so bad and put you behind in doing many things! I truly understand, and that is why I am not entering the Christmas gift for CMD members this year, for my health is too poor and not predictable for getting things done like I would like either! You are a blessing to us and so is Brian, Dan and many others for the bravery of staying close to Jesus and keeping the faith in unusual circumstances that the devil uses to get us down with, if we would let him, but God's people have the joy of Jesus Who gives us strength to continue travelling on His straight and narrow way in the light of His wonderful and amazing love! No need to apologize and I think we all understand some of what you've been through for we each have trials to endure and overcome which are easier with Jesus Christ as our own personal Savior! Amen!
