Hi Folks; Sorry I was not online yesterday. I was in the hospital over night.The pain is incredible. I can stand up and I can lay down but I can not SIT down. It is the way the pressure on my spinal cord is effecting the nerve groups. My Doctor said that any time I want just show up and they'll take me RIGHT IN. He told me the Surgery will take 11 - 14 hours to complete but I should be able to walk again after 3 - 5 months although there is a very large chance I can end up Paralyzed from my chest down for LIFE.This will be my Seventh Operation on my spine. I'll take the first option.!!!!! :devil: Trying to hold out for several personal reasons due to family but I really don't know if I can take much more. I NEED God's strength. I know that even as strong as I am, God is STRONGER.!!!!!!! Lord, I'm Jealous of You.!!!!!!! :heh: It is by His Strength I walk, Not Mine.!!!!!!!! Anyway, I will keep you guys Posted. Thanks. Brother RonB, I truly believe you will make the right decision, for your life. God, Himself, will lead you in the direction He would have you go. You know ~ sometimes we need to take a leap in faith and do the impossible. Maybe you should seriously consider the surgery... May God walk with you in your daily life and your decision that may change your life forever.
 
Prayers for you to make the right decision in Jesus' precious, holy name and may the surgery be done successfully and very soon with the guiding hands of God directing the physicians' hand during the operation and afterwards! Lean on Jesus! I listened to a song today, I'm learning to lean on Jesus! Sure is a pretty song for strength to continue enduring and overcoming all things we are tried with! May God have mercy and give you a miracle healing, for I know that and believe He can do it! Amen! :angel: Ma Betty
 
surely they have an opinion. Perhaps the best thing you could do for your family is go ahead and have the surgery now. I'm praying for you.

Hi Folks; Thanks for all the prayers. Please keep them going. I do "NEED" them now. I saw the Surgeon today. He increased my morphine and told me to lay low. I will.!!!!! Yes I will make the right decision as needed. I "have to" think about my kid first though. I'll die to make sure she s taken care of.That's just being a man. Yes I am in the battle of my Life but I know that through Jesus I will win the War. My Surgeons opinion is to operate right now but the problem there is scheduling 2 teams of Surgeons at the same time for my surgery. Also because school is coming I "need" to make sure she has everything she needs to go to school safely. Making sure she has Lunch Money each day. Has new clothes to wear.Has food, has Pens, pencils, notebooks.etc.. That while I'm in the hospital she will stay at my Sister's house. That her basic needs are taken care of there as well. Part of all this is the finances involved as well. Because I'm laid up I have lost a lot of income but I can make it through if I can hold off the surgery. I am also no fool in that if I can't make it to the due date I "WILL" go in. It will tear me up worrying about her the whole time. Satan may have his way with my body but he will NEVER have his way with my heat or my soul. God will see me through.!!!!!!!! It is called "WALKING" in Faith rather than Talking about it.. (NIV) Romans 8 : For You did no receive a Spirit that makes you a slave again to FEAR. But rather you received the Spirit of Sonship and by Him we cry ABBA Father. Am I scared??? Yes. Only a fool would not be but I will not give into FEAR. It is ok to be afraid. that is called being HUMAN. But to me FEAR is when you or I ACT on it. That when you do not lay down, give up, become depressed etc.. That to me is FEAR. God did not make me to kneel before Satan. I REFUSE.!!!!!!!! I will not lay down, give up but rather sing His praises loud and clear.!!!!! Get behind me Satan.!! God is in Command; not you.!!!!! Anyway I thank you guys for your prayers and please keep them going. Thanks All. PEACE:RONB

Job went through tough times - the Lord told Satan he could do anything but not kill him. Maybe you are being tested also.

Ron please go in for your surgery as soon as you can and trust God by leaning on Jesus that your daughter will be taken care of....I'm sure she would rather have her dad feeling better and with her than all the school clothes and supplies in the world! If your sister is like me, your daughter will be taken well care of and if it costs her some money, I'm sure she is willing to help you both and when you are much, much better through Jesus' healing and loving care, you can pay what you owe in the future! Remember, your daughter needs you well, able to function and happy! Don't let satan win by putting off your surgery too long! May God Bless you, your daughter and your sister!
