Hi Folks; Wanted To Share A Story Here ------

Hi Folks; A strange thing happened yesterday morning. I got up about 5am because I couldn't sleep due to pain so I decide to go to the Coffee Shop to see some of my friends. I have to take a bus to get there and I had 2 choices of either the 5:45am or the 6:10am. I debated and decided to catch the 5:45am bus. Now when I got to the bus stop there was a guy there with another friend of his. I noticed that this guy looked like he was on a 10 year drinking binge and wreaked of booze to boot. I kept a close eye on him. Anyway I get on the bus and he sits down across from me. As he did so he began pulling out a silver rope type chain that had a pendant on it and he put it on. Then I noticed that he was crying. This really got my attention. Then I noticed that the pendant was actually a Spanish 4 Reale from the Atocha and I asked him if I could see it and he said yes. After I told him what it was he said that he knew what it was. That it was a gift from his mother a few months ago and that, get this, he came to Boston to bury his mother who had just died. !!!!!!!!!! I was floored. !!!!!!! I asked where he was from and he said Philly. As I began to tell him the history of the Atocha he said that I had just blown his mind that he would meet someone who actually knew about the Atocha and he was smiling from ear to ear. Well when you think of the circumstances surrounding our meeting it blew my mind as well.
I believe that God set things in motion for us to meet on that bus. First is that here he is all the way from Philly, on a bus at 5:45am in Medford, MA that I almost missed. That if he had not pulled out that chain and coin we would never have talked. That God used me and this great hobby / profession to help this guy take his mind off of his grief for a bit at least. I gotta tell ya, I stand in AWE of Him and His Merciful Ways and I thank Him for having used me and this great hobby / profession to help this guy in some way. Anyway, I'm proud to be a Treasure Hunter and I had to share this story with you guys. Until later PEACE:RONB :detecting:

how often the Lord sets things in motion for us - be they to meet a guy like you did - or to maybe miss a bus that would have been a bad experience. Praise the Lord ! Steve in so az

You experienced a God thing, Ron, and when He guides us by His plans for each of us, strange things happen but it is according to God and how He works in each individual life for their good and for His purpose! This guy needed comfort and understanding because of the loss of his mother and by you knowing about the Atocha and able to tell him about the lost ship and its treasure gave him a new look on life and something to remember even more! It is always said that our Lord works in mysterious ways and He does but we have to be open to them when they happen and know it is the Lord's will happening! May God Bless with healing more and more! Amen! Ma Betty
