My wife's great great grandfather had a mine in Death Valley in the 1800's and her Uncle just gave me 2 guns that he has had for many years, one of which belonged to her G.G. Grandfather. Can you imagine the tales it could tell if it could talk?!!!! Rather than risk the barrel's exploding on me, I will not shoot it but will either hang it on the wall or keep it somewhere safe. We will keep it in the family and it will be handed down when I pass away. The gold specimen was one that actually came out of the mine.
We have had a lot of rain here but once these storms pass, you'll find me hunting for gold and silver on the beach!!! G.L.&H.H. and Happy New Year everyone!!
