Hit a old park....no rainbow(s) :fisher:

Did, though, manage a 46 Rosie and a nice 35 Buffalo along with 6 toasted wheat cents and a few pieces of clad. Not shown today is a heck of a lot more trash. There is going to be a piece of gold pop up one of these hunts. My 3030 buddy also scored a silver Rosie and some wheats. We pretty much followed the lawn mowers around. Counting silver war nickels, I am setting on 95 silver coins for the year. I am now starting to count them down. F 75 LTD and waiting for the next hot Fisher detector to hit the playing field. I bet the WEIGHT of the silver you have so far this year is larger than normal...lots of Q's, half's and that Peace dollar come to mind.

Nice finds buddy ..Your just awesome with that F75............ :please:

Nice finds, love those buffaloes! What did it ring up as, vdi wise?

triplehooked, typical nickel reading, 30, give or take a number. Dry ground and about 5" deep. I was in 3h tones.

Sweet, that's what I was hoping. I'm still new to the F75 and haven't found any nickels yet. One thing that I loved about the CZ series as they are nickel killers. I'll be happy for a Buffalo but hoping for a V nickel this season.... Thanks

The F doesn't lock on as well as the cz's, but it does very well on nickels. Don't be afraid to dig bouncy readings as long as they stay 3 or 4 numbers around 30. I've dug quite a few that bounce from like 27 to 32, but usually a few 30 readings show up during the bounce. HH jim tn

Where EMI is minimal the F75 is superior.

I know it's annoying to hunt with EMI, but if you can put up with it on low to zero disc and high sens, the 75 will get the goodies...and deep ones at that.
A thought just came to mind and may be a ignorant one, but, If there was a volume control for EMI.....?? I say that, because a target tone will override the EMI interference...you CAN distinguish the two....try it.
So, if a target will trump EMI, there is a difference somehow, and could there be a way (electronically) to turn down the EMI other than a freq change?
I will say, Minelab's noise cancel is a nice option, still a freq change though.

95 silvers wow. That is some fine detecting. Nice job Jim.....Z
