Hit another coin spill..

Got out for a bit this afternoon and it started out crappy. Went to a park I haven't been to in ages and I won't go again for ages. Found a lousy twenty one cents there. Stopped at the playground where I found all the loot yesterday and no one had lost anything since I cleaned it out, so went to one of my favorite sports fields to wind out the day.

Soon as I walked up on the grass, turned my 2500 on, and made a scan, I got multiple signals that ID'ed " quarter." That improved my day instantly. Pulled six quarters out of that spill. Spent a few more minutes there and picked up two more quarters, some dimes and pennies then had to head home. I hope this lucky streak continues. Why can't I find a spill of gold rings? :)

all i find lately is clad too but it is better than nothing silver is getting as scarce as hens teeth.great finds anyway that is sure better than finding a bunch of zinc pennies.
 
nice hole bill! i found a local school ballfeild that has apparently not been hunted in years. the school dates back from the early 1900's and although i haven't hit any silver there the ball feild is loaded with clad. i just set up the 1350 to find dimes and higher and swing away. i popped 8 quarters and 12 dimes out of there sat. without even trying hard. the oldest coin was a 65 quarter. the school is currently closed for renovation. i'll probably hit it again this evening. happy hunting.!
 
I love coin spills. Found a number of them myself. Yes it would be nice if they were rings instead...:razz:

Im just glad to see you are getting out. Remember back in the early spring, when you were rained out, like for 40 days and 40 nights?

I dont think I could endure anymore feeling bad for you like I did then.
