I had wondered how it would do ID'ing nickels at depth and it does very good with consistent 54-55 readings. One in particular was well past 8" and still ID'd correctly.

I sure like mine so far. I am just starting to be able to tell some of the tones are breaking up and not worth digging. I dig them anyways to prove myself right.
