Hit some St. Louis Parks with Guvner & DrBobinMO....Got some SEATED....

Hey Bryce... Glad you made the road trip. Nice comparing those signals too... that one was sure a deep one. I got a pretty good hit with the E-Trac with the stock coil and with all of the playing around we were doing with that target I found the time to put on the 10 x 12 SEF coil and it hit it real hard too... No problem with depth on the new E-Trac. More luck would be nice as I just had a very small collection of wheaties when I left for home...

Guvner..

How do you like the SEF 10x12?..Im back and forth between the pro coil and the SEF. I have an Exp 2. I need Help!!!:surrender:

I'll just stick to readin' books though.:detecting: How have you been? I don't see you post much anymore.

I've been doing O.K. I haven't been out much this year like last year. My detector needs repair so I gotta send it in. I do have a backup SE.

I find some goodies every now and then. I guess I should post some of them.

What do you think about that new 10 X 12 S.E.F. coil? Is it deeper, more sensitive than the stock?

You need to get a pic of you on your bad bike on your icon here.

Tony

Bryce, love to read your posts, AWESOME finds. I do have a question or two and I'm sorry if you have previously answered this, Do you run in Iron mask? Can you tell me a little about your basic settings like do you run fast or deep, audio sound normal, 1, 2 or 3? Discriminate anything? I'm trying to understand the "warble" and I have been hearing the faint high pitch but mostly associated the warble with lilt or trash. I am also having difficulty getting that high faint pitch to repeat, even at different angles. I'm running advanced digital and I understand that you are running the cursor. Does the cursor skip around on the shallow targets or just the deepies? I live in KC and would LOVE to hunt with you. Keep the postings going! D-

Yep...it was definately a blast. It also showed us that you can't go wrong with either coil.
Now if we can only get GOLDDIGGER to make a trip to St. Louis for a day:clapping:

Even though them Seated are worn, there still Seated! Congrats on another successful hunt. RicK(ND) has ordered the S.E.F. Coil that you use for Dale, Tim, and I to try out and see if it gets anymore Depth than the Pro Coils we are using since you are doing so well with it. I just hope he gets it before the weather turns for the worst. I enjoyed reading your post as well and I can't wait to read and see your next post. Continued Success, Good Luck and HH to you.:super:

it works well for you. I haven't taken it off in 2 months...and that's the honest truth. There have been a few parks that I wanted to put the 6" excelerator coil on...but I just couldn't bring myself to take it off. Don't get me wrong...I love the pro coil...but the SEF coil has just found me tons of stuff in the last 2 months....and it's older stuff. I think that has been the key to why I like it so much..because it seems to be finding me the older era coins from many of my pounded parks. I don't think it will matter which coil you use buddy...cause' you'll pop out tons of silver no matter what is coil is on the end of your machine. Take care James...and I hope the weather holds out a little longer for us,.
