Hit the Beach with the Golden

Hit the beach this morning with the Golden uMAX. Found 34 clad and a metal car but no jewelry. The beach is heavily hunted. This is the first time I've had the Golden out in over a year. All 4 tones were well pronounced. Think I'll be using it on the beach more often. Hope to score some jewelry next time.
 
Actually that's a pretty good day, considering all the competition. Great to hear the Golden is getting some action.

Had an interesting experience with the Golden. On two occasions I located targets that rang with a high tone immediately followed by a mid tone. In both cases, the target turned out to be a modern penny. Any one else have that experience with the Golden?
