Hi has anyone used the new coiltek 8.5x 11.5 coil for the explorer2? Just need to know if it is worth buying thanks Harry

That is what it is called as I have one and used it last year. It is lighter than the stock coil and find I can get into tighter places with it. The depth is about the same as the stock coil and seen at times it seems to be a little better on some side by side comparison, but not all side by side comparison.
If the stock coil is the only coil you have I would get a Joey coil or a 8 inch coil first for the trashier sites, unless all you hunting will be done is clean areas then I would get a X12 of Sun Rays or a 15 inch WOT first.
