Thursday went to a forest preserve I hadn't hit for a while. At least 2 years. Deer still there but none of them followed me around this time. Got a 1926 Wheatie and a Zinc jar lid. The lid was about 12 inches down and when I got it out I air tested the the thing and got it at least 30 inches. That MXT is pretty good. Like it more everytime I use it. Friday went to the detector shop for a BS session and got to see L.C. and a couple of guys I hadn't seen for a while. We are going to try and get out detecting together this week. Saturday it was a little cool to ride the Hog so hit some playgrounds. Got a 1 dollar coin, 27 quarters, 22 dimes, 14 nickels, and 21 pennies along with a small silver stud earring, a junk star pendant, and a cute little puppy medallion. Went out today to a school I spotted on the way home Saturday and thought I might get lucky there, as it was out of the way and was the first time I had ever seen it. Got about 1 dollar there. There were about 35 or 40 Geese grazing in the grassy area and you had to watch where you step out there but too wet to hunt it anyway. Got a little rain last nite. Hope all had a great weekend.
